Here's this week's article on Inca sacrifices, broken up into nine smaller pdf files:
one four seven
two five eight
three six nine

(You can find the full article via Academic Search Premier by searching for "Reinhard Ceruti sacrifice")

A wealth of visual information on Stonehenge and the Avenue can be found at this site: images, 360° panoramas, aerial video clips, and stages of construction.

Here's another panoramic view and another series of construction stages

Recent radiocarbon dating of three cremation burials indicates that Stonehenge was used as a (royal?) cemetery starting centuries earlier than had previously been thought

Another team has advanced the very different hypothesis that Stonehenge functioned primarily as a destination for ill people who could benefit from healing bluestones and Neolithic medicine . . .

. . . which perhaps is why the Amesbury archer was visiting the area

Based on that team's 2008 excavation at Stonehenge, a new date for the bluestone circle has been derived
(also check out the video halfway down the page)

(Optionally, you can read this National Geographic article that covers both hypotheses.)
